Sustainability campaign launched: Ströer supports the GREENTECH FESTIVAL

Festival for Green Technologies and Sustainable Lifestyle from June 22 to 24, 2022 in Berlin

From June 22 to 24, 2022, the GREENTECH FESTIVAL will take place for the first time this year on the site of the former capital city airport Tegel. The festival consists of different elements: The GREEN AWARDS on June 22nd will be followed by the CONFERENCE on June 23rd and the EXHIBITION on June 23rd and June 24th. Together with guests, partners, exhibitors and speakers, the festival organisers – including Formula 1 world champion and sustainability entrepreneur Nico Rosberg – are focusing on the process of change towards a conscious and sustainable future under the motto #togetherwechange. The GREENTECH FESTIVAL thus offers a diverse approach to the topic of sustainability and is one of the largest festivals of its kind worldwide. As in previous years, Ströer is supporting this year’s GREENTECH FESTIVAL as a premium partner and will be present on site as an exhibitor with sustainable infrastructure solutions.

In addition, Ströer is promoting the festival and its themes with a wide-reaching outdoor advertising campaign via its own digital advertising spaces. The first phase of the digital outdoor advertising campaign starts beginning of May on Ströer’s digital screens nationwide and is based on the idea that change must be actively brought about. The campaign informs about the highlights of the festival, encourages visitors and uses the possibilities of digital outdoor advertising in an ideal way: "With Ströer as a premium partner at our side, we reach a broad, qualitative and interested target group with high activation potential through the campaign. The increase in ticket requests already after the first placements speaks for itself. We are proud to be able to place our topics in a target group-oriented way together with Ströer," says Judith Kühn-Gerres, Managing Director at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL.

For Ströer, the partnership and the associated media support is an expression of the conviction that sustainability and business success are mutually dependent.

“Digital-out-of-home and the resulting smart infrastructures in cities provide new communication opportunities. In this way, we can give all stakeholders in the market the space to make sustainable developments visible and thus to shape change themselves in real time. Moreover, thanks to creative solutions and advancing technological progress, street furniture and DOOH advertising media are themselves increasingly becoming a medium whose DNA is already sustainable in itself with 100 percent green electricity or tested air filter systems,” says Alexander Stotz, CEO Ströer Media Deutschland GmbH.

Ströer’s goal is to help cities become more sustainable. Ströer has the expertise and the infrastructure to initiate local change and to accelerate the development towards a smart city by building sustainable and digital infrastructure solutions.
