Press release
The Ströer Group has reached a new milestone in cultural promotion and digital transformation. With kulturkampagne.de, a self-service portal tailored specifically to cultural professionals, the company is fundamentally simplifying the planning of urban (D)OOH advertising campaigns. Whether for theater productions, concerts, or festivals – cultural professionals will now be able to plan, book, and manage their campaigns independently and efficiently.
The portal offers an innovative solution: Thanks to transparent pricing calculated specifically for cultural professionals, an intuitive design, and pre-selected advertising spaces, users simply need to register, set a timeframe and budget, and upload their poster design. The campaign launches automatically upon approval – without time-consuming negotiations or detours.
Initially, kulturkampagne.de is available to cultural professionals in the Berlin, Cologne, and Munich areas. The service is specifically aimed at museums, theaters, festivals, concert promoters, and cultural initiatives. Expansion to other cultural cities is already in the works. A prominent early example demonstrates the concept’s success: The 2026 c/o pop Festival in Cologne used kulturkampagne.de for a citywide campaign featuring digital screens and traditional billboards – and reached a broad cultural audience.
First-Ever Access to Ströer’s DOOH Network – at Special Cultural Rates
Starting immediately, cultural professionals now have comprehensive access to Ströer’s digital out-of-home (DOOH) network for the first time – at rates specifically calculated for the cultural sector. What was previously reserved for major advertisers is now available to theaters, festivals, and concert promoters: high-resolution screens at train stations, in city centers, and at high-traffic hubs.
The key advantage: Digital out-of-home advertising works on the same principle as social media. Ad creatives and campaign setups can be flexibly adjusted right up until the day of broadcast. Costly print runs are completely eliminated. In the future, it will also be possible to change visuals directly through the online shop even while a campaign is running. What is taken for granted on Instagram – flexibility and rapid adaptation – is gradually becoming the standard in outdoor advertising thanks to kulturkampagne.de. At the same time, the model is sustainable: no paper consumption, no logistics for changing posters, and no material disposal.
Alexander Stotz, CEO of Ströer Media Deutschland GmbH, emphasizes the importance of the new offering: “Cultural professionals need visibility – but until now, access to professional outdoor advertising has often been too complex and too opaque. At the same time, customers today expect self-service and real-time control as the standard – in every industry. With kulturkampagne.de, we’re giving theaters, festivals, and concert promoters a tool that lets them book campaigns as easily as buying a train ticket. And with full access to our DOOH network, we’re taking cultural advertising to a new level: as flexible as an Instagram post – but on the city’s biggest screens. Fair prices, full control. Because culture deserves more than just applause – it also deserves a stage in public spaces."
Transparency Instead of Negotiation
At the heart of the platform is consistent price transparency: All cultural rates are viewable in real time in the shop. Negotiations, back-and-forth quotes, and weeks-long coordination processes are a thing of the past. The same fair terms apply to all cultural clients.
Analog and Digital from a Single Source
For the first time, traditional cultural media and digital out-of-home media can be combined using a unified booking system. The offering includes, on the traditional side, cultural columns, scene postering, and DIN A1 posters (Moskito Straße) – supplemented by digital formats such as DOOH Station, DOOH City, and DOOH Scene. All media follow the same principle: weekly bookings from Monday through Sunday, consistently in portrait format (A1 poster and 9:16 screen). Campaigns can be launched starting at 399 euros – with flexible payment models.
With kulturkampagne.de, Ströer combines its expertise in outdoor advertising with the needs of the cultural sector – making culture affordable, sustainable, and visible.
