The Foresight Academy, initiated by Audi, is an innovative, cross-industry platform for future-oriented companies. What will the world of tomorrow look like? How will people live in ten years? How will societies and their demands and desires change worldwide? What influence will developments in the world have on German industry? Ströer is entering into a new partnership with the Foresight Academy to discuss these and other questions. The partnership aims to bundle and structure knowledge and recognise contexts in order to derive innovations and initiate developments that benefit Ströer’s customers and partners.
The collaboration with the Foresight Academy focuses on three key areas: exchange, research and transfer. In the research phase, Ströer will contribute to identifying new trends in the media and communications industry and future customer needs. Last year, Ströer’s Corporate Strategy & Innovation team already published the second edition of “Crossroads” – a trend atlas for the German media and communications industry – and will contribute the results to the Foresight Academy as a guide to relevant trends. Finally, in the transfer phase, the Academy will create content relating to future-orientated strategies that will be passed on to the partner companies.
“We find ourselves in a time marked by a number of challenges and crises. These are influencing society, markets, media and other areas around the world and are leading to paradigm shifts in the thinking and actions of people, businesses and politics. This can create new opportunities as well as new barriers. Through our collaboration with the Foresight Academy, we can illuminate this from all possible perspectives and jointly promote a forward-looking mindset,” says Christian von den Brincken, Managing Director of Corporate Strategy and Innovation at Ströer.
The Foresight Academy is an initiative for leading multinational companies that focuses on providing future-oriented research and customer foresight expertise. The Academy connects its partner organisations through a two-year programme that includes workshops, lectures, co-creation sessions, research trips and other opportunities for collaboration across industries. The partner organisations conduct joint research and incorporate their findings into their companies, teams and products.
The platform was launched in 2017 and focuses on one central question: How do we want to live in 10 years? It has an international focus and examines global developments that affect the German economy and are, therefore, worth monitoring. Ströer Core is involved in this exciting partnership with leading global brands such as SAP, Ferrero, Swiss Re and Porsche.
