Multi-channel consumer communication: Ströer adds highly dynamic technology solutions to its expanding dialog media business

Ströer acquires optimise-it GmbH

Ströer has acquired all the shares in optimise-it GmbH for a price in the low single-digit millions and is thus supplementing its dialog marketing offering with one of the most flexible chat solutions available in the European market. Optimise-it aggregates many different channels, such as websites, apps, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, etc., in a single platform in order to facilitate efficient, multi-channel consumer communication. With its chat and messaging platform Realperson®, the company offers a comprehensive and technically flexible enterprise chat software for real-time communication via live chat. All channels can be connected on a modular basis to give the customer exactly what they specifically need. Many industry giants such as Eurowings, s’oliver, Verivox, 1&1 and ERGO Direkt have already embraced optimise-it’s highly dynamic technology solutions.

Ströer’s acquisition underscores its strategic objective of being the most customer-centric media company, able to offer integrated solutions available along the marketing and sales funnel and the entire customer journey. The combination of talent and technology enables brands to communicate with their customers in the way which appeals to consumers most – all from a single source. This step also exemplifies Ströer’s aim of being one of the leading technology providers of dialog marketing services in the German market.

With the acquisition of optimise-it, the Ströer Dialog group is strengthening its own product portfolio and creating multi-channel, scalable communication and sales solutions in consumer communication, capable of handling entire business processes. By uniting talent and technology, Ströer will create optimal service solutions for customers and the best possible interaction in a world of fragmented and increasingly digital communication flows. Ströer is able to address consumers in line with their needs and interests through all available channels. In the long term, Ströer will also build on this technology to establish new digital advertising formats which can feed into direct customer dialog with the aim of further enhancing customer satisfaction and conversion.
