Permodo, the Ströer Group’s multiscreen specialist, has announced the winner of the “Ad of the Year” award. The competition honors the most creative and effective advertising campaigns of the past year. From all the entries submitted, the shortlist ultimately consisted of 15 nominated mobile and multiscreen campaigns. In a vote by over 1,000 clients and agency partners, pilot München prevailed against strong competition with its Garmin campaign.
“We are delighted to present this award to Garmin and pilot,” congratulated Thorsten Schüttler, Managing Director of Permodo GmbH. “The winning campaign perfectly embodies what we mean by successful brand communication: the seamless interplay of strong creative work, intelligent multiscreen execution, and demonstrable impact. The clear trend toward multiscreen that we see in this year’s shortlist shows that we, as marketers, are providing exactly the right technological and strategic responses to the market’s demands.”
The winning team is thrilled about the award:

Awards and Recognition
The winning team will be honored with the “Ad of the Year” award and will receive a five-figure media budget for another Permodo multiscreen campaign, including creative development.
Background
The “Ad of the Year” award is presented annually by Permodo to honor the best creative work for impactful digital campaigns from the previous year.
From all submissions, the shortlist included 15 nominated multiscreen and mobile-only campaigns. Voting took place via an online poll.
