t-online strengthens reporting from the USA / David Schafbuch becomes news correspondent in New York

The editorial team at t-online is strengthening its reporting from the USA. David Schafbuch will move to New York on 1 February 2026 as a news correspondent and will report on political, economic and social issues in the United States. This means that, in addition to Washington and Los Angeles, t-online will now be represented in a third American city, enabling it to provide millions of German readers with fast, accurate and free coverage of developments during Donald Trump's second term in office.
