Milestone for digital outdoor advertising in Cologne

Just in time for DMEXCO, Ströer is taking over the marketing of a DOOH highlight: since September, a new 100-square-metre LED screen has been welcoming visitors to the LANXESS arena in Cologne. One of the largest and most far-reaching digital out-of-home screens in Germany has been installed directly at the transport hub in front of the LANXESS arena and is now being marketed by Ströer subsidiary blowUP media.

The screen's central location – in the immediate vicinity of the Cologne Exhibition Centre and one of Cologne's busiest traffic areas – guarantees exceptional reach: The screen is located on the car park façade of the LANXESS arena and is visible from up to 300 metres away. With up to 20,000 seats and its central location in Cologne-Deutz, the LANXESS arena itself has long been one of the most important multifunctional arenas worldwide. Due to its proximity to the Cologne Exhibition Centre, the screen reaches around 240,000 visual contacts daily. This makes the location one of the top three locations in Germany and an attractive media platform for national and international brands. In addition to the 100-square-metre screen, Ströer has also taken over the marketing of another LED screen in the southern area of the LANXESS arena.
