Bundesliga highlights on Infoscreen: Sky Deutschland and Ströer enter into cooperation

Ströer and Sky are launching an exclusive DOOH cooperation, enabling soccer fans across Germany to watch highlight clips from Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga matches in public spaces. As part of the partnership, Ströer is launching a new section on Public Video Infoscreen at high-traffic train stations and public transport hubs throughout Germany. In the future, goal and game highlights will be shown there in moving image form, supplied by Sky.

Cooperation opens up attractive advertising environments in the Bundesliga environment

Advertising customers will thus have the opportunity to place themselves in the direct Bundesliga environment. Various integrated products are available for this purpose, from companion ads and presenting to integrated special advertising formats. Ströer is thus further expanding its offering in the sports environment. In the online sector, Ströer markets various sports environments that can also be combined in cross-media offerings.

Comprehensive content from DFL competitions

The new section includes highlight clips from Bundesliga, 2. Bundesliga, relegation matches, and Supercup games broadcast by Sky in German. The content cooperation is framed by booking options for exclusive Sky Bundesliga Highlight Presenting packages for Public Video Infoscreen. The customer exclusively presents the moving image highlights of the current match days. There are three different packages to choose from, staggered according to match days.

“With the new Bundesliga highlights section, we are strengthening our editorial program on Public Video Infoscreen and creating an even more emotional advertising environment for brands directly in people's everyday lives,” says Michael Noth, Co-CEO of Ströer Media Solutions. “The combination of live coverage on Sky and Ströer's eye-catching screens makes top-flight soccer visible to fans everywhere. We are continuing to expand our offering in the sports sector for our advertising customers.”

"By utilizing our Bundesliga highlight clips for DOOH, we are breaking new ground, giving the general public access to our exclusive Bundesliga content and thereby increasing the brand presence of Sky Sport. Whether at train stations, airports, or in city centers, we are reaching many more people and target groups who are not currently watching TV or streaming. With Ströer, we are gaining a marketing partner that perfectly showcases our moving image highlights in everyday urban life," says Hans Gabbe, Senior Vice President Sports Rights & Commercialization at Sky Deutschland.
